All spiritual traditions have a heart-core of devotional practices, yet this is often absent in the lay, post-modern dharma world. Devotion inclines the heart towards love, gratitude, wonder and surrender.
On this day, we will explore traditional Buddhist devotional practices and frameworks through teachings and practices including chanting, meditating, and bowing. We’ll investigate the power and possibility of devotional practice, and the obstacles we might encounter around devotion.
This program will support you whether you already love devotional practices, or find yourself uncomfortable or skeptical about them.
May we all be deeply devoted to the flourishing of life, in all its dimensions.
