How To Join

First time joining us?

Before you access the live sessions, you need to create a one-time login.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. First make sure to use a supported browser. We recommend using Chrome, but Firefox, Opera or an Android browser works, too. Safari is supported but you may experience a 10-second delay, making it hard to interact live with the teacher.
  2. Click the green ‘Save My Spot!’ button.
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Enter your name

To Join with your iPhone

  1. Once you’re logged in to the Live session page, you will see two buttons near the top. Click ‘Install iOS app’ to install the Crowdcast app. Once downloaded from the app store, click ‘open in iOS app’ which will open the event in the app.
  2. To join future sessions, simply visit this page https://sangha.live/live, click on ‘save my spot’ and then ‘open in iOS app’.

Vimalasara Mason-John

Vimalasara (Valerie) Mason-John is the author of the timely book I am Still Your Negro An Homage to James Baldwin, a Black Buddhist response to what has been happening in the world. She is also the award-winning author of nine books, including Detox Your Heart – Meditations for Emotional Trauma, and Eight Step Recovery Using the Buddha’s Teachings to Overcome Addiction. She was raised in white foster homes and white orphanages, and has inevitably had to straddle the world of her Black African descent Heritage, with her early white childhood conditioning. She is a public speaker and has recently spoken on the themes of the Trauma of the Black Body and moderated a panel on Is Racism an Addiction, and The Codependency of Racism. Vimalasara is a senior teacher in the Triratna Buddhist community and is chair of Vancouver Buddhist Centre. www.valeriemason-john.com
