Registering for the week’s Daily Meditation sessions:

  1. Click on Join Now above.
  2. If you are not logged in you will be guided through the login or registration process
  3. You will have the option to donate in advance, or join the live session directly

RSVP for the session in Sangha Live Connect (our community platform):

  1. Once you have clicked on Join Session, you will enter the Sangha Live Connect platform
  2. If prompted to create a profile, enter any relevant information and click on ‘Continue’.
  3. The “Daily Meditations” space will appear in the left sidebar; click on it to access the space.
  4. Click on ‘RSVP’ for the sessions you would like to join. You will receive reminder emails for any session that you RSVP for.

Daigan Gaither

Rev. Daigan Gaither began Buddhist practice in 1995 in the Vipassana (Insight) tradition, and then began to study Zen in 2003 with Ryushin Paul Haller Roshi. He received Lay Ordination in 2006 where he was given the name Daigan or “Great Vow”, and received Priest Ordination in July 2011. Daigan speaks internationally on a variety of topics particularly around gender, sexuality, social justice and their intersections with the Dharma. He also sits or has sat on a number of boards and committees that serve community needs and further social justice causes.

Daigan has a BA in Philosophy and Religion from San Francisco State University, and an MA in Buddhist Studies (with a chaplaincy certificate and a certificate in Soto Zen Buddhism) from the Graduate Theological Union and the Institute of Buddhist Studies. Daigan lives in San Francisco, and you can find out more via his website queerdharma.net He identifies as a disabled, queer, white, cis male and uses he/him pronouns.
