This week’s topic is “Samadhi: A Path of Reliable Joy

One of the central lines in the teachings of the Buddha, the practice of Samadhi is the skill of harmonized, gathered presence. It is based on mindfulness and discernment, leading to deepening wisdom.

In this week of practice, we will cultivate a set of meditative skills that lead to such reliable joy.

  • Daily Meditation Recordings, with Ulla Koenig – Week of April 8, 2024

This week’s theme is “All Life is Practice”. In this week of exploring the four noble truths together, we will take a good look at the eightfold path and relate it to our own practice. This week’s theme is: Identifying the Many Masks of the Inner Critic

Often we think of the inner critic as the constant nagging inner discourse which dismisses our good qualities, questions our lovability, and our potential for goodness. Luckily, the Dharma path offers us tools to meet this painful heart-mind dynamic. This week we will practice summoning qualities like wisdom, kindness, equanimity, concentration, appreciation, compassion and inquiry, in order to meet our inner critic in a skilful way.
