While at times each of us may feel courageous, many of us often find courage to be elusive; courage comes and goes, and may be present in one part of our life, but not another.
More than ever, we need courage to survive these challenging times — from navigating struggles in our personal lives, to making important choices, to surviving ongoing global uncertainty.
What gets in the way of your courage? How can mindfulness help you to embrace your fears?
On this day of practice we‘ll explore courage as a strength of heart and mind. Together we’ll practice mindfulness meditation through sitting, walking, and movement, contemplative inquiry, and courage-focused meditation.
This event is cosponsored with the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center, where proceeds from this session will be donated.
