Sometimes meditating feels like a struggle. The restless, tired or aching body offers the heart-mind no space to settle into. We get exhausted with attempts to calm the thinking mind. The breath body is tight. We worry that we are not a “good meditator,” or that we are not meditating correctly.
This Day of Practice led by vipassana teacher, Ulla, will offer guidance for moments when your practice feels more challenging than gratifying. We’ll take a look into assumptions and expectations around meditation, and the difficulties all of us practitioners experience from time to time. And, we’ll learn creative tools and techniques for handling these energies.
This program will include Dharma teachings, guided meditations, small group sharing, and opportunity for Q&A with Ulla.
