Rick Hanson’s HEAL acronym:

Have a positive experience. Bring something to mind and really experience it.
Enrich it—stay with it for 10-20 seconds, feel it in the body, what does it feel like, let it become more intense
Absorb it—help it to anchor in your body, allow it to sink into every cell of your body, take root in you, let it really land in you
Link it to a negative experience (optional)—while having a positive experience in foreground allow negative experience in background to arise and be held/healed by the positive experience.

Daily Meditation Recordings, with Nathan Glyde – Week of Sept 25, 2023

This week’s topic is “Getting A Feel For Feeling”. As we perceive, we add a feeling (vedanā) to our experience. When we are unaware of this process and react to the projected feeling, it causes unnecessary suffering (dukkha). However, understanding this process and responding skilfully leads to one of the deepest senses of freedom available. Let’s explore this freedom through our daily meditations this week.

Joy is both a Factor of Enlightenment and one of the four Divine Abodes. Settling Into Your Body In Meditation – December 2023

  • Daily Meditation Recordings, with Leela Sarti – Week of 24 March, 2025

We’re delighted to have Leela Sarti guiding our Daily Meditation sessions this week. May these sessions support and deepen your practice.

This week’s theme is: Entering the Timeless

We often live caught in a charged and time bound perspective: I need to use my time! I don’t have enough time! time is running out! But as human beings we can also re-discover that time is malleable and through practice, the act of sacred awareness, relax into a sense of no time, deep time and all time.

Our Dharma Library thrives through collective generosity. Your donation helps sustain this offering for our entire community.
