Rick Hanson’s HEAL acronym:

Have a positive experience. Bring something to mind and really experience it.
Enrich it—stay with it for 10-20 seconds, feel it in the body, what does it feel like, let it become more intense
Absorb it—help it to anchor in your body, allow it to sink into every cell of your body, take root in you, let it really land in you
Link it to a negative experience (optional)—while having a positive experience in foreground allow negative experience in background to arise and be held/healed by the positive experience.

Daily Meditation Recordings, with Zohar Lavie – Week of December 12, 2022

This week’s topic is “Interwoven and Free”

The Buddha invited us to investigate our experience moment by moment. One of the key things we uncover as we do this is that separation is an illusion, and that we are deeply interwoven and interconnected with all beings and all things. This week we will disentangle the habitual knots of isolation and ignorance and open to the freedom available as we open our exploration of inter-being.

Awareness Shift: Knowing the Nature of the Body, Heart/Mind through the 5 Elements

Sometimes a simple shift of our perception can change our sense of everything and allow for a fresh experience of the personal and transpersonal simultaneously. There is so much more ease in a relaxed, open view. By widening our awareness aperture and somatically exploring our composition, we revisit connection. Sensing the organic arising and passing of…

Living From a Sense of Call and Response

Deep listening goes beyond merely using our ears; it encompasses engaging our eyes, hearts, and bodies as well. As practitioners of meditation, we can also learn to listen with mindful awareness. In this session, we will explore how call and response, a musical concept, also applies to meditation and our daily interactions. Join us, and…
