Caring is natural – but it can tighten into something anxious and depleting, a gripping that wears us down and, oddly, gets in the way of real care. We’ll look at the difference between over-caring and genuine caring, and practice letting the grip fall away so a steadier, more sustainable warmth can arise on its own.

“Carefree doesn’t mean careless. It is not that you don’t care about others, not that you don’t have compassion or are unfriendly. Carefree is being really simple, from the inside.”
– Tsoknyi Rinpoche, Open Heart, Open Mind
