Empower Your Self to Free Your Self

With Jonny White recorded on October 8, 2023.

Found our teachings useful? Help us continue our work and support your teachers with a donation. Here’s how.

We know that Freedom is possible, yet many of us do not feel free. In this session we will explore Freedom. What do we mean by it? What is inhibiting us from experiencing it? What can we do to heal and empower our Being to open to deeper levels of liberation.

Using sitting, talks, inquiry and discussion we will understand our ‘blocks’, work through them, and empower ourselves to freedom

For us living in the modern world, with the emergence of social media and the over emphasis and obsession with self, how can we use this teaching in a way that is constructive, authentic, relevant and realistic….

Daily Meditation Recordings, with Nathan Glyde – Week of Oct 25, 2021

This week’s theme is Making Sense of Self.
Although the Buddha encourages us to not indulgently ponder whether the self is real or not, he did offer us a way to explore how the sense of self appears. This methodology, called the khandhas (aggregates: the heap of heaps), exposes all aspects we gather together to create and hold to our sense of self: form (body); vedanā (subtle preference); perception; saṅkhāra (mental formations – like intention, attention…); and consciousness (knowing).
