Meditation itself – and the whole meditative approach to a contemplative life – could be described as a kind of deep listening. Not merely listening with your ears, but with your whole being.
A deepening meditative practice is a kind of apprenticeship in how to listen – to the fundamental awareness, and intelligence and interdependence that knits all of life together.
When we learn to listen deeply, we open to life itself. We discover what matters. We find our way through confusion. We touch into the wisdom that is always present, waiting to be heard.
This Day of Practice with Martin Aylward will be an exploration of, and a guide to, such deep listening.
Join Sangha Live’s founding and guiding teacher for a day of shared practice in the art of listening for wisdom and listening to love.
