As headlines fill the 24-hour news cycle with global dangers, disasters, and dysfunction, we take in ’the news of the world’ in ways that shape our thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and actions.
What is appropriate response? How can our dharma practice show us a wise and loving way to meet the world around us – in all its beauty and tragedy?
This Day of Practice with Sangha Live’s founding teacher, Martin Aylward, will be a deep exploration of the relationship between your heart and the world.
With Martin as our guide, we will look at what constitutes ’the world’ and the degree to which, as Anaïs Nin famously said, “we see the world not as it is, but as we are”.
And together we will explore how we create and curate our sense of the world, how we consume and interpret information, and how to be wise and loving with the thought, feelings and impulses that arise in how we meet the world around us.
