Rhonda V. Magee, M.A., J.D., is a leading mindfulness practices innovator, storyteller and author whose teachings, community building and creativity-based practices explore the healing powers of soulful, heartful mindfulness. A recovering full-time tenured law professor, she is Professor of Law, Emerita, and was the Founding Director of the Center for Contemplative Law and Ethics at the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Professor Magee has been featured on stages ranging from Parliament to the United Nations’ World Headquarters in Geneva. A prolific and award-winning author, she is best known for The Inner Work of Racial Justice: Healing Ourselves and Transforming Our Communities Through Mindfulness (2019). Her current work-in-progress, We Are The Mountain (2027) presents “soulhearted” awareness practices as central to remaking our way toward flourishing for all.
