Daily Meditation Recordings, with Ulla Koenig – Week of 14 October, 2024

Ulla Koenig

We’re fortunate that Ulla Koenig has generously offered to lead our daily meditation sessions for Europe and the UK.

This week’s topic is “Speaking with Wisdom”.

Communication is essential for us humans – we create relationships, share stories, remember the past and dream the future through language. Equally, communication can create misunderstandings, fuel conflict and division. In times of deepening polarization we might all benefit from tools which help us to create understanding and support community building. According to the Buddha, one eighth of our practice should be dedicated to such a training of skillful communication. This week we’ll pick up on this invitation and explore perspectives and tools which help us to negotiate needs, boundaries, and views and de-escalate conflict.

  • Daily Meditation Recordings, with Ayala Gill – Week of 02 June, 2025

We’re delighted to have Ayala Gill guiding our Daily Meditation sessions this week. May these sessions support and deepen your practice.

This week’s theme is: The Body is a Doorway to Love

Through relating to the elements of the body, we cultivate a presence that is grounded, awake, open, relaxed and spacious.
As the body becomes a more stable home for the heart and mind, everything settles and softens back to its natural state of aliveness and love.

Our Dharma Library thrives through collective generosity. Your donation helps sustain this offering for our entire community.

    For the love of mindfulness!

Mindfulness practice has burst out of its Buddhist origins and is hugely impacting the culture at large, particularly in the fields of education, healthcare and business. Some delight in the liberating possibilities of this, and some are concerned about what they see as the ‘dumbing down’ of the practice, or the exclusion of important areas…

    The Power of Surrender

The spiritual path requires our surrender – again and again. We surrender story, striving, preoccupation, and the illusion of separate self. We surrender all that is not Love. How do we remember the power of surrender alongside resistance? How do we recognize the emergent ground of Trust while navigating the unknown? How can the liminality…

  • The practice of love in times of hate

The Buddha taught hate cannot be conquered by hate, but only by love; that this is the eternal law. What does this mean in our lives, and in the contentious and divisive times we live in?

Feeling the blessings of your life.

We are easily and often exposed to the greed, hatred and delusion that easily directs our own minds, and seems to be running the world. Yet whatever our personal circumstances, there is much we can appreciate and be grateful for. In this session, Martin explores the quality of appreciation – mudita – as a way…
