Being Resourced for These Times

with Caverly Morgan

7-10 am PDT / 10 am-1 pm EDT / 3-6 pm BST / 4-7 pm CEST

These challenging times call for collective care, collective solidarity, and collective practice

“In the darkest times, one light can make a magnificent difference. When we come together in beloved community – rooted in truth, remembering our essence – we create a collective light far brighter than any one of us could shine alone.” —Caverly Morgan

The cherished tradition of practicing together offers opportunity to gather and connect, to heal and replenish, and to cultivate, together, the light of awareness – an ever-expansive light that we are all in need of right now.

Join spiritual teacher and author Caverly Morgan for a nourishing and illuminating Day of Practice that will provide you with practical and grounded tools for these times.

This day of shared practice offers an invitation to explore, in community, contemplative technologies meant to benefit you personally, and beyond – understanding that our world changes when they are applied collectively. As Thich Nhat Hanh once predicted, “the next Buddha will be a Sangha.”

In our time together, along with periods of meditation, we will explore Relational Dharma. Relational Dharma recognizes that our life unfolds within relationship – relationship with family, friends, colleagues, community, the world. We’ll mine the richness of being in relationship with each other while also exploring the gifts of what is beyond relationship.

Join us as, personally and together, we explore an understanding of presence that is inherently nourishing and connected – and the brilliance that comes from acting in the world on behalf of this luminous knowing.

What is Day of Practice?

Sangha Live’s 3-hour, LIVE Day of Practice allows for you to drop in deeper, develop your meditation skills, and reset your intentions through sustained sitting.

Days of Practice includes longer periods of meditation, interspersed with wise teachings, an interactive Q&A with our teacher, and more.

Replay access will be available to all registrants within 48 hours of the live session.

How is Day of Practice different from Sangha Live’s Daily/Sunday classes?

Our shorter Daily Meditation (60 mins) and Sunday Sangha (90 mins) programs emphasize dharma teachings, while our longer Days of Practice (3 hours) emphasize development of meditation practice.

Daily practice is crucial for watering seeds of mindfulness, but extended periods of deep attention such as these, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, can be uniquely fruitful.

Cost

Day of Practice is offered on a sliding scale basis, with a suggested rate of $35. We wholeheartedly welcome all to practice with us; no one turned away for lack of funds.
