Roxanne Dault
Roxanne Dault has been dedicated to this path for two decades, sitting on long retreats both in Asia and in the West. A Guiding Teacher at True North Insight in Canada, Roxanne teaches at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS), the Forest Refuge and at the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies in the USA and offers retreats in France with Terre d’Éveil and other organizations. She is also a teacher at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and teaches in a variety of settings with incarcerated people and other marginalized populations.
Her teachings take root mainly from the lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw and are influenced by her love of nature and Indigenous wisdom. Her mentors are Sayadaw U Vivekananda, Sayalay U Bhaddamanika, Pascal Auclair and Joseph Goldstein. She is trained in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-mind approach aimed at relieving the symptoms of trauma and stress.
