Daily Meditation Recordings, with Sophie Boyer – Week of 28 April, 2025

We’re delighted to have Sophie Boyer guiding our Daily Meditation sessions this week. May they bring peace and depth to your practice.

This week’s theme is: Groundedness to Groundlessness

Grounding oneself in this very moment to realise that what we are looking for has never left us. It has always been here and is not bound to anything. It is an invitation to let life inform every moment without a “me” being in charge – a groundless home.
Sophie Boyer will lead our Daily Meditations this week, inviting us to engage with this paradoxical dynamic.

Grounding ourselves in this very moment to discover that what we’re searching for has always been here. It has always been here and is not bound to anything. Sophie Boyer leads our Daily Meditations this week, inviting us to explore this beautiful paradox: finding a groundless home where life informs every moment without a separate “me” being in charge. Join us as we practice together in this space of gentle revelation and discovery.

    The Supramundane Nature of Emptiness

Emptiness can be a loaded word for lay practitioners. It can bring up a sense of isolation and annihilation. The dharma of emptiness, however, is a fundamental part of practice. Even in the most mundane tasks of our ordinary lives, we can access emptiness and feel the freedom that comes with it. It’s not about…

  • Wide Dharma, wide path.

Many of us long to experience the Buddhist path in all of our lives, but really only feel its aliveness when we meditate. There’s an incompleteness, a gap, when it comes to our everyday activities and our relationships, where we catch only a whiff of the truths of suffering and the Path. But when we…

Confidence in the Dhamma, Confidence in Yourself

As we attune to the truth of impermanence (anicca) the very preciousness of life itself begins to penetrate our awareness: the flowers will not last forever, our dear friends will come and go, those we love will grow old. Even how we chop our vegetables matters if we wan’t to be touched by the the…

  • Daily Meditation Recordings with Christopher Titmuss- Week of June 10, 2024

This week’s topic is “Letting Go. An Act of the Will?”

We pick up a hot coal in the morning from the wood burner.

Ouch, we let go immediately. No thought. No desire. Instant letting go.

The language of letting go has entered into the mind of the meditator.

It is often not a solution but an ambitious state of mind.

Letting go reveals an outcome of understanding.

We can tell ourselves a 1000 times we should let go and it’s to no avail.

The desire to let go shows we are not ready to let go.

We will explore the preparation for letting go and wise responses employing at times letting go.
