David Treleaven, PhD, is a writer, educator, and trauma professional working at the intersection of mindfulness and trauma. He is the author of the acclaimed book Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness: Practices for Safe and Transformative Healing (2018), and focuses on offering mindfulness practices that support self-regulation and trauma recovery. His work has been adopted into multiple mindfulness teacher training programs around the world, and he’s taught at UCLA, Spirit Rock, UMass Medical School and South Africa’s Institute for Mindfulness.
