Caverly Morgan
Caverly Morgan is a teacher of awakening, nonprofit founder, speaker, and author who blends the original spirit of Zen with a modern nondual and relational approach. Caverly was named one of 2025’s most powerful women of the mindfulness movement,
Her practice began in 1995 and has included eight years of training in a silent Zen monastery.
Caverly is the author of The Heart of Who We Are: Realizing Freedom Together (2022) and A Kids Book About Mindfulness (2024). As founder of the nonprofits Peace in Schools (the first for-credit mindfulness class in U.S. public high schools) and Realizing Freedom Together, she has pioneered ways for communities to awaken collectively, making teachings that lead to liberation accessible to all.
Caverly has been teaching contemplative practice since 2001. She leads meditation retreats, workshops and online classes internationally.
